The 2019 Heritage Golf Classic was a swinging success thanks to our generous sponsors and 160 golfers who came out on August 29th in support of the Sturgeon Hospital Foundation and the St. Albert Community Foundation.
Through sponsorship, live and silent auction and on the day donations, the 18th Annual tournament raised more than $128, 000 in support of these two charities! The proceeds from the day will allow the SCHF to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for the Women’s Health Department at the Hospital.
Speaking at the dinner after the tournament at the Glendale Golf + Country Club, Dr. Scott McCauley said: “Our portion of the funds will go towards urgently needed equipment for the Women’s Health Department, allowing us to do our job more effectively. My colleagues and I are extremely grateful for the ongoing support of the Foundation today and every day.”
